On October 28th, Native Sun's Executive Director, Bob Blake, participated in a discussion on Tribal Leadership in Clean Transportation and Energy Resources in the Midwest during the 2025 Wisconsin Transportation & Innovation Expo in Madison, WI.
He was joined by Daniel Wiggins Jr., MTERA's Executive Director, in a session moderated by Peter Chipman, Director of Sustainable Transportation at Native Sun.
Bob and Daniel shared how their organizations are advancing clean transportation and energy initiatives for Tribal Nations across the Midwest. They received an enthusiastic response from the audience when they addressed the transition away from federal funding claw-backs and emphasized the importance of collaboration with Tribal Nations.
