Electric Vehicle & Charging Equipment Class at Standing Rock Tribal College
November 4th through November 7th 2025
This 4-day Electric Vehicles and Charging Equipment class introduces students to the essentials of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, emphasizing practical, code-compliant installations. Students will learn about a broad range of electric vehicles (EVs), the requirements for siting and servicing electric vehicle service equipment (EVSE), and an overview of relevant technologies and code requirements. They will also gain hands-on experience in wiring and commissioning a charging station.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to identify critical EVSE equipment, appropriately assess EVSE installation requirements, and identify key safety practices during EVSE installation and commissioning.
